About Madee:
I learned to sew as a kid and have always enjoyed making things, but I really got into it when I started taking tech school classes in industrial sewing and patternmaking. I have many years of experience with home sewing (mostly garment-making and some quilting) in addition to my industry-standard training. I have also worked as a freelance seamstress, stitcher, and costume designer. I have a Master's degree in education, so teaching this craft to others seemed like a natural pairing! I just started up Open Studio Sewing, where I teach classes suited to different levels and sewing interests. Check out classes and more at openstudiosewing.com! :)
